A retired social worker, day care owner, housewife, and mother of two grown boys, I live with my military-retired husband in NW Arkansas, in the beautiful Ozarks. Our household consists of three rescue dogs, and a rescue cockatiel, as well as the two of us.

I am an aspiring writer and have just completed a 69,000 word middle grade/young adult novel, Hawk Trublood and the Mystery of Trublood Bay, and am currently searching for a publisher. I also write poetry, read voraciously, love to cook, quilt, knit, garden, fish, and create stained glass portraits.
